While the resident’s taxes increased each year, Key Foods went down. Their property value reduction in $2,653,700 equated to roughly $85,000 less to pay in ratables.

While it’s wonderful to “restore” parks one after the other, residents don’t even realize how much money is being bonded for. You are paying that amount PLUS interest over 20-30 years. We do not have the money to complete the projects we do, so Matawan, for lack of better terms, basically purchases these restorations on credit cards
